(More customer reviews)Over the years I have replaced several other waste disposers that used a diecast grind chamber because the housing corroded through. From now on, I'll only buy those with non-metal housings, and this appears to be an excellent design. We chose this model because of the low cost and the the fact that it more than meets the minimal use we give a waste disposer. It's quiet and more than powerful enough to digest table scraps and occasional other light solids. Installation is as easy as any other disposer I have installed.
