(More customer reviews)Although this unit is whisper quite and does an amazing job grinding what ever I put in it; it does have flaws. The only compliant that I have on this unit is that it is a "batch grind"; which I didn't understand what that meant until I installed it. The disposal cover (drain plug) must be installed for the unit to grind. We've found that the cover gets full of food and is hard to keep clean when we've put stuff down the disposal. I would recommend buying the other 1HP Kitchen Aid unit that doesn't have batch grind.
